Products needed to make the earrings

We have made the earrings in THREE different easy styles using the same Tassels and Tierracast silver Ethnic Ring Fan finding. Just changing the earwire / stud connector at the top of the earrings.

Style One

• 10 x 20mm cotton mini tassels with silver jumpring (TAS-20S-MI)
• 2 x Tierracast Ethnic ring fan silver (TC-3207-12)
• 2 x Tierracast 20ga sterling silver loop earwires (TC-1170-1)

Style Two

Use the same mini cotton tassels and Tierracast Ethnic ring fan as in Style One plus:

• 2 x 14mm (12mm ID) silver plated bezel earpost with loop and clutch (EBZ-417)
• 2 x 12mm art glass cabochon we have used (CAB-12H8) but any size 12mm patterned      cab would be suitable.
• 2 x 6mm 18ga Beadsmith silver plated brass jumpring (SPJL06)

Style Three

Use the same mini cotton tassels and Tierracast Ethnic ring fan as in Style One plus:

• 2 x 6mm 18ga Beadsmith silver plated brass jumprings (SPJL06)
• 2 x Tierracast 12mm Lotus earpost silver plated (TC-1082-12)

Tools needed to complete the earrings

• Flat nose pliers
• Bent nose chain pliers
• Glue for the cabochon/bezel earring version only. We prefer E6000 or Aleenes Jewellery and Metal Glue.

Instructions to complete the Earrings:

Step 1

Using your flat nose and bent nose pliers open the top of the jumpring on each of your tassel and attach the tassel through the hole on your Tierracast Ethnic ring fan. Then using your pliers close each jumpring.

Step 2

Using this method continue to attach five tassels to each of the ring fans.

To complete Style One Earrings open the loop on your silver earwire and attach the

Earring to the loop. Close the earwire loop.

You have now made yourself a pair of earrings.

To complete Style Two Earrings follow steps 1 and 2 then -

Apply a small amount of glue into the base of the silver bezel post, place the 12mm glass cabochon into the bezel tray. Gently press on the cabochon insuring the bezel tray adheres. Leave to completely dry. Open the 6mm jumpring with your pliers and attach your bezel earpost and Tierracast Ethinic ring fan, then close the jumpring.

You have now made yourself a pair of earrings.

To complete Style Three Earrings follow steps 1 and 2 then -

Open the 6mm jumpring with your pliers and attach your Lotus earpost and Tierracast Ethnic ring fan, then close the jumpring.

You have now made yourself a pair of earrings.
